Extremely disappointed at my experience with Jefferson Hyundai. I've been a customer since 2020 and since then the service has completely deteriorated.
This year Jefferson Hyundai lost my log book (including car instructions and entire vehicle repair history) and damaged the underside of my vehicle. When I brought in the car to follow up they immediately responded by gaslighting me. See photo of damage attached.
If you're taking your car to service here and your log book is declared "not there" at the time of car collection, they will not call you to investigate why is it isn't with the car to give you the opportunity to present it. They will not tell you that it was not there when you collect your vehicle. If you follow up with a concern that it has gone missing after service will not search their workshop for your misplaced book or follow up with the staff that worked on your car or other similar vehicles that they serviced that day to try to find it.
They also had a great time attempting to convince me that I was "blackmailing them" when I explained that I would write a google review of my recent experience as a consequence of what had occurred.
As a small gesture, they are replacing the lost log book and rewriting the entries when I have brought the car to their service however they cannot replace the gross devaluation of my vehicle with the entire loss of my service history. They would not repair the damage to the underside of the car.
When you take your car for service you are entrusting that the work will be completed, that you car and log book will be cared for and you'll be informed of any issues and get the opportunity to resolve. Jefferson Hyundai does not deliver.
In addition to delivering quality service and advice since I purchased my first car here back in 2013, I was recently pleased to witness management support a worker when a customer was badly behaved. The situation was handled very well. Staff that are well taken care of are more likely to take care of their customers - which could explain why I’ve consistently received excellent service from the team here. Well done.
Walked in on Monday, driving home on Wednesday!Because my old car was retired, I needed to find a replacement car immediately for work and pick up kids. With a limited budget, I set the Hyundai Venue as the ideal grocery car. I did not consider the Elite, the sunroof is not matter to me, so I was lucky to see there was an active in stock at Jefferson Hyundai.
